MNS Student Wing Warns MBMC of Agitation Over Unauthorized Schools and Pending Education Issues
The Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena (MNVS) met MBMC Commissioner Radha Vinod Sharma and demanded action against unauthorized schools and coaching classes, along with the resolution of pending issues related to students, teachers, and sports grants.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena (MNVS) on Thursday met Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) Commissioner Radha Vinod Sharma and submitted a memorandum demanding immediate action against unauthorized educational institutions operating in the city.
Led by MNVS City President Robert D’Souza, the delegation raised concerns over the alleged unauthorized functioning of Don Bosco School in Mira Road and other schools and coaching classes that have been declared unauthorized by authorities. The organization urged the civic administration to take strict action against such institutions in the interest of students and parents.
The student wing also demanded the timely distribution of school uniforms, educational materials, and the commencement of computer training programs for students studying in municipal schools. In addition, it called for immediate action on pending sports grant applications submitted by athletes.
MNVS further highlighted several pending issues concerning teachers and sought prompt resolution from the administration. The organization warned that if the demands are not addressed within the stipulated timeframe, it would be compelled to launch an aggressive agitation in support of the rights and welfare of students, teachers, and educational stakeholders.
The warning was conveyed to the Municipal Commissioner through an official memorandum submitted under the leadership of Robert D’Souza.
Present during the meeting were MNS Assembly Constituency President Sachin Popale, Municipal Workers Sena President Abhinand Chavan, City Joint Secretary Sanjay Sawant, MNVS Division President Mandar Patil, Gaurav Shinde, Zaid Sheikh, along with other office-bearers and party workers.
