PM Modi Urges Citizens to Stay Hydrated During Summer Heat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to citizens across the country to drink sufficient water and take necessary precautions during the summer season to prevent dehydration and heat-related illnesses.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged people across the country to remain cautious during the intense summer season and ensure that their bodies do not suffer from a lack of water.
Speaking during his monthly radio programme, "Mann Ki Baat," the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of staying hydrated, especially while stepping out in the sun. He advised citizens to drink water regularly and take all necessary precautions to avoid dehydration and heat-related health issues.
Modi also encouraged people to follow the guidelines and advisories issued by various government departments regarding protection from extreme heat conditions. He stressed that awareness and preventive measures can help citizens stay safe during the summer months.
The Prime Minister's message comes as several parts of the country continue to experience high temperatures, prompting authorities to issue heatwave advisories and public health warnings.
During the programme, Modi also made a light-hearted reference to mangoes, often referred to as the "king of fruits," while interacting with listeners.
