MNS Pressure Forces Civic Action at Mira Road Crematorium, Claims Sandeep Rane
MNS Mira-Bhayandar City President Sandeep Rane claimed that the municipal administration carried out immediate repairs and cleanliness work at the Mira Road Hindu crematorium following the party's intervention and ultimatum.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has claimed a major victory after the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation allegedly carried out urgent repair and maintenance work at the Hindu crematorium in Mira Road following pressure from the party.
According to an official statement issued by MNS, Mira-Bhayandar City President Sandeep Rane visited the crematorium on June 5 to inspect the condition of basic facilities being provided to citizens. During the visit, he reviewed the status of a water cooler installed for drinking water and other civic amenities at the cremation ground.
The party stated that complaints regarding the poor condition of the water cooler and lack of maintenance had been submitted to the concerned department nearly a month ago. However, during the inspection, the water cooler was reportedly found in a dilapidated condition, while issues related to cleanliness and upkeep were also observed.
Expressing strong displeasure over what he described as administrative negligence, Rane had reportedly issued a final ultimatum to the concerned officials, warning that if the problems were not resolved by Tuesday, MNS would launch its signature style of agitation against the authorities.
MNS claimed that taking serious note of the warning, the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation acted swiftly and completed the necessary repair and cleaning work at the crematorium on June 6.
Calling the development an example of the party's commitment to public issues, MNS stated that it would continue to fight aggressively for citizens' rights and ensure that basic civic amenities are maintained across the city.
The party reiterated that it remains committed to holding the administration accountable whenever public grievances are ignored.
