NEET Paper Leak Protest Reaches Jantar Mantar; Demonstrators Demand Accountability and Education Reforms

Hundreds of students, youth activists, and members of various organizations gathered at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to protest against the NEET paper leak controversy, raising concerns over the integrity of India's competitive examination system.

The demonstration witnessed participants carrying placards, banners, and symbolic props to highlight their anger over alleged irregularities in the conduct of the medical entrance examination. Protesters accused authorities of failing to safeguard the future of lakhs of students who dedicate years of preparation for highly competitive exams.

Some protestors also raised demands for political accountability, including calls for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, arguing that responsibility must be fixed at the highest level to restore confidence in the examination system.

Security arrangements were tightened around the protest site, with police personnel deployed to maintain law and order. The demonstration remained largely peaceful as participants continued to voice their concerns regarding the future of students and the credibility of national-level entrance examinations.
