Mira-Bhayandar Police have deployed heavy security arrangements across the city ahead of Bakri Eid, with bandobast at 38 locations and nakabandi at five key points to maintain law and order.
In view of the Bakri Eid festival, Mira-Bhayandar Police have implemented strict security arrangements across the city to maintain law and order and ensure peaceful celebrations.
According to police officials, security deployment has been arranged at 38 locations, while nakabandi has been set up at five strategic points. Overall, police surveillance will remain active at 43 points across the city.
For the security operation, a total of five police officers and 90 police personnel have been deployed.
Special security arrangements have been made around mosque areas, traffic-sensitive locations, as well as slaughter points located near Millia Foundation, S.K. Stone area, Bhayandar West, and N.H. School premises.
The heightened police presence comes in the wake of tensions reported a few days ago at Poonam Cluster-1, where a dispute between two groups had created a tense atmosphere in the city.
However, police officials stated that the situation is currently peaceful and under control, and all precautionary measures are being taken to prevent any untoward incident in the coming days.
The police administration has appealed to citizens to maintain peace, harmony, and cooperate with authorities during the festival period.
