Muzaffar Hussain Demands Police Probe Into Alleged Fake Birth and Death Certificate Racket in Mira-Bhayandar
Congress leader Muzaffar Hussain has demanded a transparent police investigation into the alleged fake birth and death certificate case in Mira-Bhayandar. He urged authorities to register FIRs, publish the list of 1,500 suspected names, and take strict legal action against those found guilty.
Tension has spread across Mira-Bhayandar after allegations of fake birth and death certificates being issued on a large scale surfaced in the city. Congress leader Muzaffar Hussain has demanded a fair and transparent investigation by the police into the matter and urged authorities to immediately register criminal cases against those responsible.
Hussain stated that the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation should officially hand over all documents related to the suspected certificates to the police and file a formal complaint so that an FIR can be registered without delay. He further demanded that the police conduct a detailed verification of all documents and initiate strict legal action against any officials, employees, or individuals found involved in the alleged racket.
He also called for the publication of the list of nearly 1,500 suspected names in newspapers as well as on the official website of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation to ensure transparency and prevent misinformation among citizens.
According to Hussain, making the information public would help curb illegal activities such as fake documentation, unlawful identity creation, and bogus voting practices. He emphasized that transparency in the entire process is essential to maintain public trust in the administration.
The Congress leader urged the administration to take immediate cognizance of the matter, conduct an unbiased investigation, and bring the complete truth before the public while ensuring strict punishment for the guilty.
