MBMC to Appoint 41 Heirs of Retired and Deceased Sanitation Workers Under Lad Committee Recommendations

The Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) distributed letters regarding medical examinations and character verification certificates to eligible heirs of retired, voluntarily retired, and deceased sanitation workers under the recommendations of the Lad Committee.

The letter distribution ceremony was conducted in the presence of Dimple Vinod Mehta and Municipal Commissioner Radhabinod A. Sharma. A total of 41 eligible candidates are set to receive appointments in the municipal administration under the initiative.

According to the civic administration, approval has been granted for the appointment of 9 candidates to the post of peon and 32 candidates to the post of sanitation workers. Appointment orders will be issued after the candidates submit the required medical fitness and character verification certificates to the establishment department.

The letters related to the verification process were distributed by Mayor Dimple Mehta, Commissioner Radhabinod Sharma, and Standing Committee Chairman Hasmukh Gehlot.

During the event, Mayor Dimple Mehta congratulated the newly selected candidates and urged them to serve citizens with honesty, dedication, and responsibility. She also encouraged them to contribute positively to the functioning of the municipal corporation and fulfill public expectations efficiently.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sachin Bangar, City Secretary Dinesh Kanagude, Assistant Commissioner Sunil Yadav, along with several municipal officials and employees, were present at the programme.

Officials stated that the decision would provide financial stability and security to the families of the beneficiaries and help support their future livelihoods.
