Free Buttermilk Distribution Brings Relief to Commuters Amid Scorching Heat in Bhayanda

As Maharashtra continues to grapple with intense summer heat, social organizations in Mira-Bhayandar are stepping forward to provide relief to citizens. At *Hanuman Mandir Chowk in Bhayandar East, the **Gopi Mahila Samajik Charitable Trust* has been distributing free buttermilk to pedestrians and commuters to help them cope with the soaring temperatures.

With the mercury rising across the state, many residents are avoiding unnecessary travel and stepping outdoors only when essential. The scorching heat has also increased the risk of dehydration and heat-related illnesses among people travelling on roads during the daytime.

Keeping these concerns in mind, volunteers of the trust have organized the buttermilk distribution initiative, offering refreshments free of cost to passersby. The effort has been receiving appreciation from local residents and commuters who are benefiting from the service.

Apart from this initiative, several social and charitable organizations across Mira-Bhayandar have also set up roadside drinking water stalls and hydration points in different parts of the city. These efforts aim to ensure that residents and travellers have access to drinking water and refreshments during the peak summer season.

Representatives of the trust stated that the initiative will continue to serve citizens during the ongoing heatwave and contribute to community welfare.
