Bulldozer Action on Alleged Illegal Noori Mosque in Bhayandar; Civic Demolition Drive Completed Peacefully

A major development has emerged from Mira-Bhayandar near Mumbai, where the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) carried out a demolition drive today against the allegedly unauthorized Noori Mosque located in the Gold Nest Circle area of Bhayandar East. Extensive security arrangements were put in place, with a large police presence deployed across the locality.

According to officials, discussions between the administration, senior police officers, and representatives of the mosque committee continued throughout the night before the operation. Following detailed deliberations, the mosque committee agreed to cooperate with the authorities. Committee members voluntarily removed belongings from inside the structure and assisted civic officials during the demolition process.

To prevent any untoward incident, the Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate deployed heavy police security in and around the area. The operation was carried out peacefully under the supervision of civic and police authorities.

Although a brief period of tension was witnessed during the action, effective coordination between the administration and the mosque committee helped maintain order. The situation remained fully under control, and the demolition was completed without any major dispute or law-and-order issue.

The action is being viewed as a significant step by the administration in its ongoing drive against unauthorized constructions in the city.
