Chaos erupted at a CNG petrol pump in Mira Road after a dispute over vehicle queue management escalated into a violent physical fight between two groups.

According to information received, a long line of vehicles had formed at the Mahangar CNG petrol pump for refueling when a driver allegedly attempted to forcefully insert his vehicle in the middle of the queue. The act reportedly triggered an argument between two individuals present at the spot.

What initially began as a verbal altercation soon turned aggressive, eventually escalating into a full-scale brawl at the crowded petrol pump premises. Eyewitnesses stated that punches and physical assault followed shortly after the heated exchange.

Several individuals are believed to have sustained injuries during the clash. Following the incident, members of both groups reached Mira Road Police Station to file complaints.

Police officials have begun an investigation and are examining CCTV footage from the petrol pump to determine the exact sequence of events and identify all individuals involved in the assault.

As per the FIR details that surfaced, a case has been registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 74, 79, 115(2), 352, 189(1), 189(2), 190, and 191(2), along with Sections 37(1), 37(3), and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

Authorities stated that further legal action will be taken based on evidence collected during the investigation.
